Meet the trainers you will be working with:
Matt Stucki
Matt was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He began playing sports at a young age and fell in love with the game of basketball. Matt played basketball at Century High School, where his team won the state championship his senior year.
Following high school, Matt continued his basketball career at Idaho State University while getting a degree in Business Management. Matt was an All-Conference selection his junior and senior year. The highlight of his career at ISU came when he and his Bengal teammates beat the University of Utah three days after the birth of his son.
Following his college career, Matt played professional basketball in Germany, where he competed in the Bundesliga (top league in Germany). During his career, Matt was fortunate to be able to play against players such as: Russell Westbrook, Keven Love, James Harden, Darren Collison, Damian Lillard and other well known NBA basketball players.
Following his basketball Career, Matt trained youth boys and girls at the Factory located in Lehi, Utah before going to law school. After law school Matt returned to Pocatello. In 2015, Matt and his wife began a youth basketball club wherein they provide training, leagues, and coaching to the youth in Southeastern Idaho. In 2018, Matt and his wife teamed up with Hoops Academy.
Chelsey Stucki
Chelsey grew up near Atlanta, Georgia. Her love for the game of basketball began in the 4th grade when she decided to play because her close friends played. As a sophomore at South Gwinnett High School, she was named a starter on the women’s varsity basketball team and as a senior was selected All-State/Conference.
After High School, Chelsey continued her basketball career at Salt Lake Community College for two years, after which she accepted a full ride scholarship to play at Idaho State University. The Bengals were the Big Sky regular season champs her Senior year.
While playing for the Bengals, Chelsey obtained a bachelors degree in Physical Education. She later became the Graduate Assistant for the ISU Women’s basketball team and helped with coaching duties while earning a masters degree in Athletic Administration. Chelsey is personal trainer certified and has been training individuals in personal fitness for the last 5 years.
In 2015, she and her husband Matt began a basketball club wherein they have provided basketball training and development for youth in Southeastern Idaho. Chelsey coordinates and schedules all training clinics, leagues, and classes. In 2018, Chelsey and Matt teamed up with Hoops Academy.

We have classes from Kindergarten-8th grade. High school students can request 1 v 1 up to 4 v 4 training sessions. Our classes include: ball handling, passing, lay ups, shooting, defense as well as footwork, 3 on 3 play and much more!
